Designed by Émilie Baumann in the Art Deco style, this pair of bistro chairs is very sturdy and suitable for frequent use. The “bent” beech technique is employed with meticulous joinery. The “semicircular” backrest rests on three slats. The rounded, laminated seat is set within a sturdy frame.
The four slightly curved legs are connected to the seat and to each other by arched crossbars. The “BAUMANN” mark is engraved beneath the seat. Original piece in very good condition.
