A Louis XIV-style fireplace made of green Alpine marble, carved in the 19th century, in perfect condition. Known as a “boudin” style, the arch of its lintel features two shaped panels at its ends, and a generous, framed torus accentuates the perimeter of its hearth.
Its hammered brass firebox surround, complete with its closing curtain, is original, as is its hearth slab made of fine Belgian black marble and Belgian royal red marble.
Its footprint, including the hearth slab, measures 146 cm by 69 cm.
The length of the body is 145 cm.
The firebox measures 67 cm wide and 63 cm high.
