We are offering for sale this authentic lamp base by Gilbert Valentin (1928–2001), created in his studio “Les Archanges” in Vallauris. Its authenticity is confirmed by the incised signature on the underside of the base.
Created in the 1950s or 1960s, it features a matte black, grainy engobe finish with a bright yellow enamel decoration that has a crackled effect.
