We present for sale this interesting bronze sculpture after Etienne Melingue, actor, designer and sculptor. He was born in 1807 in Caen and died in 1875 in Paris. The character represented by this sculpture is Jean de La Fontaine, a famous author of the 18th century. This bronze sculpture is superbly successful, it is very well carved and has a very pretty patina. (E23)
