Canvas Floxer

This still life by Reney features a vibrant bouquet that seems to spring from the canvas, set in a blue-green vase whose calm depth enhances the brilliance of the blossoms; intense pinks, sunny yellows, pearly whites, and velvety purples mingle in a lavish composition where every brushstroke appears to pulse with freshness. The paint is dense and expressive, applied with subtle impasto that catches the light and lends the bouquet an almost tactile presence. The background, rendered in soft shades of gray and beige, creates a muted setting that allows the interplay of colors to take center stage. The work bears the signature of Reney, an artist sought after for his luminous still lifes and confident command of color. The carved frame—finished with ceruse and gold patina—reinforces the piece's classic, warm character, making it a collector's item ready to elevate either a contemporary interior or a more traditional setting.
