Pair of silver-plated bronze candelabra, Parisian craftsmanship from the Napoleon III period or the late 19th century, in the Louis XV style.

Richly ornamented in the Rocaille style, finely chased with motifs of volutes, counter-volutes, clasps, cartouches, and foliage; they rest on a base with a flowing shape.

In the Louis XV style, directly inspired by the designs of Juste-Aurèle Meissonnier (1695–1750), our candlesticks date from the late 19th century, a period when ornamentalists, weary of pastiche, decided to produce perfect reproductions of 18th-century models, incorporating the refined finishes made possible by 19th-century techniques.


A beautiful, finely chiseled piece; its particularly substantial weight—1,200 and 1,300 grams—is a testament to its quality. Our candelabra are ideal for complementing a decor in the purest Louis XV style and will pair well with 18th-century furniture of this style.

In very good condition, complete. Some wear on the silver plating.
