Large Pair of Blue and Gold Castle Curtains, Neo-Renaissance Jacquard, 19th Century

A significant pair of castle curtains made of jacquard fabric woven with gold metallic threads, dating from the late 19th century, circa 1880–1900.

Given their particularly generous dimensions, these curtains were intended to adorn the tall windows of a castle, a private mansion, or a prestigious residence.
