Very elegant gilded bronze table candlestick in theArt Nouveau style, circa 1900, signed Anglès.

The particularly original compositionfeatures a female figure set against a floral backdrop, with largeleaves featuring the soft, flowing lines characteristic of the Art Nouveau aesthetic.

The center features a circular recessapproximately 24 mm in diameter, still bearing traces of old wax,which likely confirms its function as a candleholder.

The lower part is closed by aheld in place by four small screws, a construction characteristic of afunctional cast bronze object.

Beautiful antique patina and traces of gilding, withsome signs of wear and oxidation typical of a piece from this period.
