Superb antique candlestick dating from the second half of the 19th century (circa 1850–1900).
Made of gilt brass, it features very fine openwork around the crown, adorned with decorative blue, green, red, and white cut glass stones.
The candlestick is equipped with an internal spring mechanism (which needs cleaning), allowing the candle to rise automatically as it burns.
The elegant and functional side handle makes it easy to move and mount on a wall.
The base is richly decorated with raised floral motifs. The piece has a beautiful, unpolished antique patina, consistent with its age. A rare antique decorative object of this quality, ideal for collectors, antique enthusiasts, or anyone seeking distinctive décor.
