Two taxidermied bird specimens mounted in an oval wooden frame with curved glass, including a specimen from the Rallidae family of the species known as the moorhen, primarily from Europe. Also included is a specimen from the Scolopacidae family, of the species known as the common snipe. On the back of the frame is an old stamp from the taxidermy workshop of Ledot Jeune, 212–214 Rue de Rivoli, Paris. In perfect condition.
