A rare 4.5-cm aquamarine crystal of exceptional purity, elegantly set in its orthoclase (feldspar) matrix with a few quartz crystals
Crystals of this gem-quality are regularly removed from the matrix (or break) during extraction, often to be cut (for jewelry); finding large, transparent crystals still in their natural setting is therefore quite difficult !
