Turquoise And Diamond Ring - Made In France, Circa 1970
A stunning ring in 18-karat yellow gold and platinum, adorned with a large, domed motif composed of cabochon turquoises and diamonds arranged in a staggered pattern.
The intricately crafted setting features a sculptural design of twisted motifs and yellow gold cordwork, creating an elegant contrast with the blue of the turquoises and the sparkle of the diamonds. The openwork shoulders harmoniously extend this design.
The arrangement of the stones evokes certain creations by the great French jewelry houses, notably Boucheron and Sterlé, from the 1960s and 1970s.
