Elegant French jewellery casket in silvered and gilt bronze, enriched with brass elements. Rich relief decoration featuring musical instruments, floral garlands, putti and allegorical scenes. The interior is lined with tufted blue silk.
Made by the Maison Adolphe Boulenger, circa 1870–1880.Marked beneath the base: “A.B. PARIS”.
Good overall condition, with signs of age and natural wear to the finish.
