Description

A pair of torch-bearing angels in carved, gilded and polychromed wood, depicted in flight with outspread wings and flowing drapery gathered at the hips. The cherubic faces with rosy complexions and the dynamic composition of the figures reflect the fully developed Baroque taste. Each angel holds a shaped candleholder in one hand.
