Art Deco Platinum And Diamond Ring - French Craftsmanship, Circa 1930
A stunning Art Deco ring in platinum, featuring a large octagonal bezel with beveled edges, entirely set with diamonds.
The geometric composition is centered around two round diamonds in a closed setting, arranged vertically, framing three stepped rectangular diamonds in the center. The design is accentuated by a pavé of diamonds of various sizes that follow the contour of the plate.
The openwork setting and the highly architectural construction of the mount are characteristic of Art Deco jewelry from the 1920s and 1930s.
