Beautiful mahogany bed, with mottled mahogany veneer, gilded bronze, and Wedgewood.
Headboard with a molded pediment, grooves, lictor’s fasces, and acanthus leaves.
Guilloché-decorated panel, with foliage motifs in the spandrels.
Footboard with three molded panels; the central panel features a laurel garland and knotted ribbons. Wedgwood medallion depicting a Borghese Dancer.
Wide fluted posts with serrated edges and asparagus-shaped finials. Antique-style drapery, laurel garlands, and fleurons.
Crossbars with intertwined laurel branches and rosettes.
Fluted spindle legs with clogs.
A piece of high craftsmanship, likely from a leading Parisian furniture house of the period.
Buffered varnish applied in our workshop.
