Curved Chest Of Drawers With Amboina Burl Marquetry—mid-18th Century
A three-drawer chest with a curved, domed shape, made of Amboina burl veneer and accented with dark and light wood bands (olive and lemon). The drawer fronts are adorned with marquetry cartouches featuring four-lobed rosettes. The top features a marquetry design with volutes, a central star, and foliage motifs at the corners.
Gilded bronze handles and lock plates in a Louis XV-style shell motif. Curved legs.
