The son of ceramist Félix Millet, Paul Millet took over the family workshop in Sèvres at the end of the 19th century. He collaborated with decorative artists such as V. Yung, creating pieces that won awards at the Salons and major world’s fairs for the purity of their botanical motifs and the mastery of their raised glazes.
Note a fine hairline crack at the rim (see photo) with no structural weakness
