Signed at the top left Born in 1946, Jean-Claude Maas (pseudonym Arnold GUERLINCK) is a painter of the 20th - 21st century. From a very young age, he was interested in art through photography, which allowed him to enter various fields: fashion, industry, entertainment, and to carry out reports as well as portraits there. Growing up in a family of antique dealers, he quickly became interested in painting and collaborating with painters. He began to paint under the signature Jean-Claude Maas, views of Paris with Impressionist influences. Then, passionate about Cubism, he turned to works highlighting geometric forms. And, to his great surprise, a buyer immediately showed up for his first work. It is then under the name Arnold GUERLINCK that this Cubist inspiration would continue to flourish.
