A beautiful and substantial Provençal wardrobe in solid walnut, dating from the 18th century, featuring elegant decoration characteristic of the Louis XV style.

It opens at the front with two large molded and carved doors, composed of dynamic panels. The carving is particularly decorative, featuring a repertoire of shells, flowers, foliage, and volutes, elegantly arranged on the door transoms.

The upper crossbar is adorned with a delicate carved floral design. The lower crossbar, heavily scalloped and carved with a central shell flanked by foliage and flowers, rests on beautiful scroll-style legs.

Also noteworthy are its long, carved keyholes and large metal pins, which contribute to the character of this cabinet.

The interior, with ample storage space, is fitted with shelves and retains its traditional, period construction. The back, made of wide planks, also attests to its period craftsmanship.
