Round, rifled barrel, marked on top with “COLTS PT. F. A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." and "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" on the left side and "44" on the underside.
Steel frame engraved on the left side with "PAT. SEPT. 19. 1871. JULY 2. 72. JAN. 19. 75.” and stamped “127803” twice on the underside.
Trigger guard marked “44 CAL.”
Six-shot cylinder, six grooves and six notches.
Lock plate numbered “222.”
Stock stamped “127803.”
Checkered ebonite grip plates, marked with the Colt colt.
All parts bear the same serial number.
Single-action, percussion-fired.
In perfect condition.
This revolver comes with a Colt appraisal letter issued on July 23, 2025, and an appraisal report from the Saint-Etienne National Proof House dated January 8, 2025.
