A rifle used by the king's bodyguards, with a hallmarked barrel and a lock plate hallmarked "M" for the Royal Manufactory of Charleville. Bassinet with brass drum, trigger guard ending in a lily shape, thumb piece bearing three crowned hearts in gilded bronze, stock plate back with letters and numbers; all brass parts are hallmarked.
