Octagonal, rifled barrels with a blued finish; marked "Acier Fondu" (Cast Steel) in gold lettering.
Breeches and breech tangs chased with scrollwork; numbered "1" and "2" respectively.
Flat-bodied lockplates, engraved to match.
Hammers chased with scrollwork and featuring chequered spurs.
Trigger guards with finger rests, decorated to match.
Faceted butt caps with central knobs, engraved to match.
Walnut stocks with short, carved fore-ends.
Fluted grips.
Percussion action.

Varnished walnut case with a brass medallion on the lid.
Green felt lining, marked "A. GUINARD & Cie" and "8 AVENUE DE L’OPERA 8 PARIS".
Double-locking mechanism.
Complete with original accessories.
