Compartmentalised lacquered wooden game box decorated with plum blossoms, chrysanthemums and foliage motifs on the sides.
The lid is adorned with a mountainous landscape with Mount Fuji in the background and a bay in the foreground with five ships sailing. The reverse side features floral and foliage motifs in gold on a black lacquered background.
The interior comprises four lacquered boxes decorated with gold glitter and floral motifs, each containing mother-of-pearl tokens engraved with figures, animals and animated scenes.
Removable tray.
