Ivory box with straw marquetry, decorated with a miniature depicting an altar surmounted by two doves under a canopy encircled in gold and inscribed with “imitate them,” decorated on the inside with flowers surrounded by leafy scrollwork.
Hides a miniature portrait of a man beneath the bottom of the box (difficult to open).
