A rare and compact collector’s cabinet serving as a marble and lithograph collection,
The cabinet, made of veneer and blackened wood, opens to reveal a compartment hidden within the curved top
It also opens via a flap that reveals 4 drawers containing 50 samples, some of which have retained their original labels
It includes a document holder containing the complete catalog detailing the stones
Inscription on the catalog: “Property of C.W. Packe, dated 1841”
In good overall condition
Key and lock are functional
