DELFT workshop mark with axe, 18th century. Pair of horn-shaped vases with hexagonal sections and flared necks, decorated in underglaze blue with a lively scene of Chinese figures in a garden. Axe mark under the base. Height 22 cm, width 16 cm. Good overall condition with minor chips from use and a small, previously repaired loss at the base.
