The work depicts the Virgin and Child at the center; on the right are two saints, almost isolated in their spiritual conversation, the one farthest to the right being Saint Catherine, recognizable by her attribute, the cogwheel; on the left is Saint Joseph, depicted with youthful features, likely because he bears a resemblance to the patron.
