Late 19th-century Neo-baroque Display Cabinet In Walnut
Late 19th-century Neo-Baroque display cabinet in walnut, made in Italy, featuring an imposing structure and finely carved details. The upper section has doors and side panels made of blown glass, with interior shelves that can be adjusted using convenient slotted rails. The base features two paneled doors, embellished with volutes, rosettes, and a central mask—decorative elements typical of the period. The side posts are adorned with candelabra depicting male and female caryatids, floral motifs, fruit, and masks. The cornice, equally richly carved, features a central coat of arms supported by cherubs. The surface has been patinated to reflect the style of the era. Please note that a carving is missing from one of the posts; however, this defect does not detract from the piece’s overall elegance.
