We are pleased to present a beautiful stencil watercolor by Cécil Aldin. It is likely one of the rarest and certainly the most accomplished, given the impressive level of detail. Indeed, we see about fifty horsemen, all very skillfully rendered and wearing different outfits, indicating that several hunting parties are competing in this hunt. In the foreground, we see part of the pack chasing the game. This work is unique in that it features a gouache portrait of a dog and a countersignature on the mat. (See photos)
