Holy Water Font On A Baluster Base In Pink Marble, Circa 1980
We present to you, from a private chapel in the Entre-deux-Mers region (Gironde), a large, freestanding stoup in pink marble. The large, circular basin has a hemmed rim, supported by a cyma molding. The baluster-shaped base rests on a base with an inverted cyma molding. This very elegant stoup, of considerable size, can also serve as a decorative object (like a planter) suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is in very good condition.
