Here is a butsudan from the late Meiji or Taisho period
There are some small chips and scratches on the sides (some of which have been touched up)
The cornice lifts up, allowing for electrical wiring. The gilding is in good condition. The grilles are intact. The lacquer shows signs of wear and dust in places. The metal fittings show minor signs of oxidation.
