A very beautiful Napoleon III-era tabletop oil lamp from the second half of the 19th century, complete and of remarkable craftsmanship.
Designed in the form of a neoclassical urn with meticulous details:
Molded crystal reservoir with fluted edges.
Bronze with a medal-like patina, featuring garlands of foliage, bearded masks in high relief, and recessed medallions in antique green marble. Octagonal black marble base.
Brass burner with a spherical glass knob made of frosted glass, featuring acid-etched floral designs, and a glass chimney.
In very good condition. Beautiful, well-preserved antique patina; no major cracks in the crystal or glass components.
