A magnificent and imposing set of 3 sculptural vases made of raw chamotte stoneware, dated 1965, with Miró’s signature on two of the vases
These pieces showcase remarkable craftsmanship with a rough, mineral-like texture reminiscent of sand or carved stone. The design is entirely incised into the clay, depicting stylized figures, naive creatures, and stars drawn directly from Joan Miró’s visual repertoire and artistic universe.
Two of the two scroll-shaped vases bear the signature “65 Miro” engraved at the bottom of both pieces. Unglazed raw chamotte stoneware. Hand-incised engraved decoration. Art Brut, Modernist, studio ceramics from the 1960s

Very good overall condition, beautiful original raw patina.

One anthropomorphic, organically shaped bottle-vase decorated with a flower and pot motif
Two large cylindrical vases with tapered necks, covered with a continuous frieze of incised figures and stars.
