A Gold Needle Case, Empire Style
An elongated rectangular case in yellow gold with two sections. The body, with flat, polished sides, is accented by decorative bands engraved with stylized plant motifs and geometric rosettes in slight relief.
The piece is designed with a two-part sliding mechanism, allowing pins to be inserted.
The ends are accented by molded finials, one of which is slightly domed.
