Silver-gilt And Enamel Bottle, Second Part Of The 19th Century
Cylindrical enamel bottle, with a vermeil and enameled frame. The bottle is decorated with a gallant scene painted in enamel and inspired by 18th century pastorals. A tenderly embracing couple, the woman leaning her head towards her partner's shoulder, dance in a bucolic environment. The background is decorated with groves and floral arrangements. Another young woman witnesses this charming scene. She carries a basket of flowers and a crown of flowers on her arm. The hinged stopper is decorated with two young shepherdesses painted in enamel. The inside of the bottle has a crystal stopper. Work from the second half of the 19th century. Circa 1850.
