Elegant ladies’ travel kit, Empire style, circa 1810, containing numerous accessories for grooming, sewing, and writing....It is complete; only one piece is slightly damaged—see photos—the others are in excellent condition, and all are original.

Box made of thuja burl veneer, inlaid with a mother-of-pearl escutche on the lid and the lock. Velvet interior. A slight chip on one corner of the box and on the side, visible in thephotos.
The case measures 10,63 inches x 7,48 inches and is 3,93 inches high.
A very beautiful example of feminine refinement during the Empire.
