A remarkable reversible table runner that can also be displayed as a wall tapestry, woven in damask Jacquard with a rich 17th- and 18th-century-inspired design featuring acanthus scrolls and floral bouquets.
A piece of exceptionally fine workmanship, edged all around with a braid and featuring a generous fringe of braided tassels.
French work, likely from the northern manufacturers in the Flemish style or from the Lyon region.
In perfect condition: no holes, no wear, fringes intact, and colors perfectly fresh.
