Mahogany Stool, Directoire Period – Early 19th Century
This beautiful Directoire-style chair, crafted from mahogany and mahogany veneer, stands out for its slender and refined silhouette, supported by three legs that rise with elegant simplicity. Their straight lines are subtly accentuated by bronze accents, providing stability and visual contrast. At the top, the circular Carrara white marble top offers a luminous surface whose purity highlights the nobility of the materials. The piece rests on a triangular base with delicately curved edges, creating a harmonious transition between the vertical structure and the floor. This side table, both understated and sophisticated, evokes a design that is both classic and contemporary, where marble and wood interact naturally; it is ideal for displaying a decorative object or serving as an aesthetic accent in a refined interior.
