This elegant Louis XVI style side table, dating from the Napoleon III period, is crafted from precious mahogany and richly adorned with gilt bronze mounts. The circular top is surmounted by a veined marble slab encircled by a gilt brass gallery. The frieze is decorated with molded panels highlighted by bronze fillets and bronze appliqués featuring garlands and foliage, characteristic of the Louis XVI style. The table rests on four cabriole legs, connected by a circular stretcher, also encircled by gilt brass.
