The dynamically shapedshafts rest on a polylobed base with scalloped edges, adorned withrich high-relief decoration featuring shells, volutes, rocaille scrolls,acanthus leaves, small flowers, and asymmetrical medallions.
Each baluster shaft, withcurved sides, is entirely adorned with contoured volutes,leaf-shaped clasps, and rocaille cartouches in slight relief. It extends into atwisted central knot from which a six-armed cluster of light indouble volutes soars, arranged around a central candlestick, forming aparticularly airy composition.
Each arm, with anundulating cross-section, is adorned with veined acanthus leaves, jagged volutes,and plant-inspired scrollwork. The fixed candle holders, shaped like fluted corollas,rest on molded bases decorated with foliage motifs
