Exceptional Napoleon III-era Mirror With Glazing Beads, Made Of Wood Gilded With Gold Leaf
Large mirror, designed to be hung or placed on a surface, made of wood and gilded stucco. Featuring richly detailed Louis XV and Louis XVI-style decoration, adorned with volutes and rocaille motifs, as well as musical instrument trophies, the mirror is mounted with glazing beads; all the glass panes are beveled and follow the contours of the glazing beads. A piece from the Napoleon III period, circa 1870.
