A Longwy Polychrome Slip-glazed Cornice Clock Decorated With Butterflies, Birds, And Flowers

– Polychrome slip-glazed cornice clock from the Longwy factory, decorated with a bird, butterflies,
flowering branches, and foliage on a light gray background dusted with gold. 
- Signed with the Longwy Manufactory’s stamp, engraved into the clay beneath the glaze; a round date mark bearing the inscription
“Longwy” along with the month and year of production: 1086, where 10 stands for October and 86 for the year 1886, along with the letter K and the model number 1943, all located on the back of the clock.
– Slightly domed white enamel dial signed by the watchmaker Gantier aîné, based in Agen.
– Roman numerals for the hours and index markings for the minutes, painted in black.
– Inner bezel of the dial in chiseled and guilloché gilt bronze; outer rim of the bezel is beaded; beveled mineral glass. – Burnished steel Breguet hands for the hours and minutes.
– Two winding holes on the enamel dial: one at the 4 o’clock position (on the right) for winding the
clock’s mainspring. — The other at the 8 o’clock position (on the left) for winding the clock’s striking mechanism.
– Key-winding mechanism; the original movement key is provided in polished metal, with the number eight engraved in the center of the
winding key.
– Strikes the hours and half-hours on the hour with a hammer striking a gong located at the back of the clock on the
movement.
– Paris-made, eight-day Japy movement in polished gold-plated brass with striking mechanism, signed and engraved with the round logo of the Japy watchmaking manufacture—a manufacturer of pendulum movements—and the inscription “L.E.P. JAPY&Cie” on the inside. MEDALS. and
a medal in the center of the logo, movement number 1766/48/18, and the letter C and the number 3 engraved on the plate at
the back of the movement.
– Movement fully cleaned and serviced by a watchmaker, in perfect working order.
— Round bronze balance wheel with a ball and screw for adjusting the clock’s gain and loss.
– Period: 4th quarter of the 19th century, date hallmark 10/86 (October 1886).

   shipping costs and with insurance for the item covering the full sale price listed on my Proantic website, as arranged
   by the seller, and must provide me via email with the proof-of-deposit receipt issued by the post office when the package or
   item was dropped off at the post office, or the waybill issued by the carrier.
- All sales made on my Proantic website are covered by insurance purchased from La Poste at the time
   the item or package is shipped, covering loss or theft up to the purchase price paid by the buyer.
- La Poste does not cover breakage or damage to the item or object; only theft and loss are covered for
   package shipping.
- Additional insurance covering breakage of the item, up to the price paid by the buyer on my Proantic website,
   is always purchased from the carrier if the item is shipped by them.
- The buyer is subject to legal penalties if they do not return the item within this 14-day period and in good condition.
- A refund for the item will be issued within 14 days of the seller’s receipt of the item or package
   and after the condition of the item has been verified.
- If the item or product is found not to be in its original condition, the sale will be considered final with no
   refund, and the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.
- The refund for the item or product will be issued via the same payment method (check, bank transfer, PayPal) that
   the buyer used when making the purchase on my Proantic sales site.
- The buyer must take the necessary steps on PayPal themselves to request a refund if they paid via PayPal, specifically by
   going to the  Disputes section and opening a dispute case involving themselves, PayPal, and the seller.
- This reminder regarding sales on my Proantic store is intended for litigious individuals and those acting in bad faith.
- I advise litigious individuals and those acting in bad faith not to purchase anything from my Proantic store; this will prevent me      
   from wasting my time and money on legal proceedings.
