A fine example of the luxury goods of Kings Restoration period in Paris, this razor case—crafted from rosewood with a beautiful handle—opens at an angle to reveal a compartment holding a pair of razors between two leather stools… its case is covered from green morocco leather with gold-foil garlands, its pink paper label from the Pradier firm, beneath “au coq” sign, 33, rue du Bourg-l’Abbé, cutler (slightly worn)….Medals, from the reign of Louis XVIII and 1821…
