Handheld Bronze Candlestick From The Empire Period
Handheld candleholder with a gilded bronze cage from the Empire period. Resting on a circular, tiered brass base, the candle is positioned in the center and protected by a bronze cage that houses a tubular glass shade designed to shield the candle from drafts. One of the cage’s uprights features a finger grip decorated with an Empire-style palmette. In very good overall condition; fully functional.
