Superb Art Nouveau-era folding table with two trays, stamped on the reverse with the monogram “BL Bénouville Léon” and numbered 35/250
Circa 1900
Elegant wood marquetry work in fruit woods depicting a vine branch with leaves and a bunch of grapes.
Corner fittings, opening handles, and side fasteners in gilded bronze featuring the dynamic floral motifs typical of the École de Nancy and the curved lines of Art Nouveau.
Curved base with four tapered legs joined by a crossbar.
In very good condition, with a beautiful original patina and well-preserved marquetry.
