Louis-philippe Chest Of Drawers In Walnut And Walnut Veneer. 19th-century Piece

A beautiful Louis-Philippe chest of drawers, circa 1830–1840, made of walnut and walnut veneer. Dated to the 19th century.

The front features four drawers, three of which are large and display exquisite veneer work, carefully arranged to highlight the natural grain and symmetrical patterns of the walnut.

The top drawer, positioned beneath the top panel, lends the piece a simple and elegant silhouette characteristic of the early years of the Louis-Philippe period.

It is topped with its original, intact white marble top, featuring slightly rounded corners.High-quality traditional construction, with hand-crafted dovetail joints on the drawers and solid wood panel backs.

Locks and key are functional. In good overall condition.

Note: There is a slight, old crack on the left side panel, visible in the photographs but which does not affect the piece’s structural integrity.
An elegant chest of drawers with balanced proportions and very attractive grain, which would fit easily into both classic and contemporary interiors.
