Elegant Empire bedside table, 19th century. Made of flame mahogany veneer on an oak frame.
It opens with a drawer at the top and a glass door at the bottom, revealing interior storage space and a glass shelf. The piece rests on four engaged columns with gilt bronze rings, terminating in toupie feet.
It is topped with its original molded marble slab.
The keyhole escutcheons and handles are bronze, decorated with lion heads.
