Set Of Three Restoration Period Mahogany Armchairs – 19th Century
An elegant set of three armchairs from the Restoration period, circa 1825-1840. Made of finely crafted solid mahogany, with scrolled armrests ending in carved motifs. The flat backs and gently curved seat rails exemplify the understated refinement of this period. Seats and backs are upholstered in a paisley-patterned fabric (reupholstered in the 20th century). One back shows slight discoloration of the fabric. The woodwork is in very good structural condition with an antique patina. Dimensions: approximately H 93 cm x W 58 cm x D 55 cm. First half of the 19th century. Three cushions complete the seating. Delivery within mainland France: €150. Contact us for more information.
