Ceramic vase from Vallauris, signed Monacis France, dating from 1955–1965.

This elegant bottle-shaped vase is enhanced by a hand-painted floral design on a metallic background with golden and pinkish highlights, enlivened by a delicate network of decorative crackle patterns.

The quality of the craftsmanship, the richness of the glazes, and its large size make this a particularly decorative piece, characteristic of Vallauris’s artistic production during the Trente Glorieuses.

The Monacis studio mark is present on the base, accompanied by the decorator’s signature.
At that time, Vallauris was experiencing a significant boom in artistic ceramics, featuring a wide variety of shapes and designs.

The vase is in very good condition, with no cracks or restoration.
